Peiron has two foundries under its own name. The foundry in Kokemäki, Finland, concentrates on nodular cast iron and steel, and the foundry in Kangasala, Finland, produces grey cast iron.
Jokelan Valu in Jokela, Finland, specializes in wear-resistant cast iron.
The customers of our foundries include a number of Finnish and foreign companies within the mining and metallurgical industries, pulp and paper machinery makers and power plants.
In order to decrease our customers' logistics needs, we deliver our foundry products ready machined.
Malli-Kiviset is our patterns maker, which not only produces patterns for Kumera's own needs, but serves also other customers promising them fast and efficient deliveries of state-of-the-art patterns.
All the companies of the foundry division form a link in our vertical refining chain, creating synergy in Kumera's production strategy, which is all for the benefit of our customers.
The main products of the Foundry Division are:
grey cast iron
nodular iron
construction steels
steels for quenching and tempering
heat-resistant steels
stainless steels
