Kumera Power Transmission Group has launched new products -
a completely new gear unit range called LX-Series, and a new generation of Yankee Drives.
The LX-gearbox series is especially designed for fast rotating shafts, such as roll-applications. The new LX-series has no need for bearing covers. The sealings are of labyrinth-type, which cause no wear nor friction on the rotating shaft. Integrated lubrication canals and high accuracy in manufacturing gear wheels have resulted in compact dimensions in high torques range from 1-400 kNm.
The new generation of Yankee Drives comes with several improved features. For example the structure of the gearbox housing is weight and stress optimized. The oil supply for each tooth contact and for each bearing is optimized and there is a complete oil piping inside the gearbox which protects it from outside damage. As a further advantage, the optimized standard range has a short delivery time!
